Calculus Capital portfolio company Every1Mobile’s Head of Programme Design, Abi Gleek recently spoke at a DAI panel discussion on “Digital Health in International Development: Current Realities and Future Trends” in London.
Abi shared insights from the U Afya programme in Nairobi, Kenya where Every1Mobile is working with mothers and mothers-to-be in informal settlements, to design a digital community that would support them in keeping themselves and their families healthy, using the technology they already have. One of the goals of the community is to encourage healthy behaviours.
